What define youth in Kenya? Is it music, dancing, taking no responsibility, being rowdy..e.t.c. I think what should define youth in Kenya is their talents, innovativeness and knowing that they have all it takes to make it in
life and live a Kenyan dream. This according to me is not having been born with a silver spoon in your mouth but through resilient and hard work you can manage to buy a silver spoon and put it in your mouth. At the end of the day all what matters is each and everyone of us have a silver or even platinum spoon in their mouth.
I refuse to accept handout that weaken my self reliance but will accept ideas that will help improve my self confidence and change my view about life. We are smart people and I believe we can and have all it takes to make this country prosperous. Yesterday we were told that we are the Leaders of tomorrow and I believe our time is now to rise up and take responsibility and steer this country to where it is supposed to be.
I would urge each and everyone of us to use the opportunity they have to improve their lives and the lives of their families. If you have a opportunity to help just do it now, one aspect of our generation is that they prefer things to be done now rather than tomorrow. This does not mean we are impatient, it is only that we don't like excuse. I would listen to a reason but not an excuse...to be continued.
